What’s at the center of your family’s wagon wheel?
Everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great clash.
Matthew 7:26-27

In this weekend's message, JJ encouraged us to examine the priorities in our families. What is the center of our family life? In other words, what is the thing that drives all of our activity in our homes?
JJ suggested that there are a few things that tend to wind up as the "hub" of the family "wagon wheel."
Education - Sports - Money - Fear - Cultural Trends/Crisis
If you were to look at your calendar and bank account, what would you say your family leans towards from amongst these categories? Is it a category you don't see listed above?
What is the shadow side, or downside, of prioritizing that particular area in your family?
From Proverbs 27 above, what does the overall shape of your family life reflect in the central heart of your family? Would you say it is a healthy set of priorities?
If the fear (or reverent respect) of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, how with making that wisdom central adjust your family priorities?
Is there anything you think should change for your family in the immediate future? How would you adjust your priorities for a more healthy family life? How does scripture inform those decisions?
