Why are there so many religions? How do we know ours is the right one?
The Bible acknowledges there are other gods.
The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.”
Psalm 53:1
The God of the Bible declares he is the one true God.
You shall have no other gods before me.
Exodus 20:3
I am the Lord your God, and that there is no other.
Joel 2:27
Logically, there can only be one true God - Monotheism
There are only five monotheistic religions in the world to choose from.
Judaism
Islam
Christianity
Sikhism
Baha’ Faith
I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
John 14:6
Here is the only decision you have to make: Did Jesus rise from the dead?
How do I know if I’m a Christian?
A Christian is one who has received the promise of eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ.
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.
Ephesians 2:8-9
How do we place our faith in Jesus?
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.
Romans 10:9-10
If you have done this, the Bible says you are a Christian.
This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit.

Can you lose your salvation?
Foundational Truth
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16
I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand.
John 10:28-29
Once we say “yes” to Christ, God the Father adopts us. Our salvation is in his hand.
I am 100% confident that we can’t lose our salvation because we make mistakes or sin.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 1:9
I am 80% sure that we can’t lose our salvation if we tell God we want out.
How can I increase or strengthen my belief in God? How do I help my “unbelief”?
I do believe, help me overcome my unbelief.
Mark 9:24
The primary way to increase and strengthen your belief in God is to be in a Christian community where it is okay to have doubts and where you can talk openly with others.
