School Partnerships

Our local schools need us! We are committed to serving the students, staff, and families at our partner school. Together we can make a difference!

All children need healthy, consistent relationships with adults who are committed to helping them grow, develop, and thrive. Our local public elementary schools have asked us to come alongside teachers, counselors and others to invest in their students through one-on-one mentoring relationships. We are being called to love them, as Christ loves us!

Are you are equipped to be a mentor?

Don't worry! Westside has partnered with the national organization, Kids Hope USA, to provide mentors with all the training and resources they need to be successful.

How does it work?

A mentor will spend one hour each week, during the school day, with their student - playing games, coloring, reading books, and talking. The focus of this time together is to build a meaningful relationship. Although we must respect the separation of church and state, you will have a behind-the-scenes prayer partner who will pray for you and your student throughout the year.
