Do you long for an intimate relationship with God, but He seems elusive? Perhaps it is because something utterly essential is missing - the fear of the Lord. Don’t let this frighten you. LifeStudy • Luke in the Land
Thursdays, January 9-February 20 | 9:30-11:15am | WFC Lenexa Room 219
Follow Kristi McLelland through Israel as we study snapshots from the Gospel of Luke to see where the stories of the Bible took place. Over 7 sessions, challenge how you read the accounts of Jesus through teaching videos that take you to locations in Israel like Bethlehem, the Sea of Galilee, Gethsemane, Jerusalem, and the road to Emmaus. Along the way, you'll see how Jesus, the Messiah, brought His kingdom to earth for everybody.

Hope in Jesus • Advanced Essential
Hope in Jesus • Advanced Essential
Sundays, January 12- February 9 | 9:30-10:30a | WFC Lenexa Room 201
The apostle John wrote the book of Revelation to a certain group of people in a particular place at a specific time. Although it was written to them, it was also written for us. Hope in Jesus takes a chapter-by-chapter view of Revelation rather than a line-by-line deep dive, helping us practically understand what God wants to say to us today through this extraordinary book written thousands of years ago. Believers will be reminded that they are uniquely wired and uniquely placed in this moment in history as part of God’s big plan to push back darkness and to establish light. Christ has overcome, and in Him we, too, are the overcomes!

RE: Conference
"It's going to be okay." Sometimes it's that reassuring voice during an insanity-filled world that we need to hear the most. We are all created to be overcomers. At this year's RE: Conference, you're invited to learn how to release those things that strive to hold you down or back.
Kids Essentials • Baptism
We love that our kids ask questions; it means they are growing in stature, awareness, and knowledge. Sometimes, they ask questions we know the answers to, and sometimes, we might know the answer but find it hard to answer in a way they will understand. In Westside Kids Ministry, we get asked a lot of questions, and we love to take time to answer their questions thoroughly. Sometimes, we need more time to converse and discuss the questions. This November, we would like to invite kids (1st-5th grade) and their parents to a salvation/baptism/communion class.
This will be a two-week course (1st-week salvation/baptism and 2nd-week communion) to discuss salvation, baptism, and why we take communion. You and your child will learn the meaning of salvation, baptism, and communion, why each is important, and do so in a fun, family-friendly environment. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and, hopefully, many answers to the questions of salvation, baptism, and communion.

Join us as we explore what true worship means, breaking free from the enemy’s tactics and building a foundation that says, "You are worthy of it all." Through practical tools and spiritual insights, we’ll empower students to embrace worship that not only honors God but also strengthens them in their faith journey.
Who is this for? This series is ideal for students seeking a deeper understanding of worship, spiritual growth, and a way to live out their faith beyond the songs they sing.

Kids Essentials • Communion

Sundays, November 10- December 8 | 11-12p | WFC Lenexa Room 201
Jesus teaches us how to pray.
There is much more to our prayer lives than most of us are experiencing. It is more than only bringing our needs to God when we are in crisis. Jesus teaches us the simplicity, richness, and transformational power of prayer as the cornerstone of our ever-growing relationship with God.

Parent Dedication
Parent Dedication is a special moment set aside for parents to dedicate themselves, their child, and their parenting efforts to God. Our collective hope is that when their child is old enough to understand, they, too, will choose to follow Christ and be baptized. As a church, we're standing with you as you take on the responsibility of parenting a child's heart and walking with them as they grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Visit our website at westsidefamily.church/parent-dedication for more information.
