JONATHAN HANSEN

LEAD TEACHING PASTOR

Jonathan grew up in Atlanta where his father served as an Episcopal Pastor. After meeting his wife Lindsey in high school, he attended the University of Georgia, earning a business degree. A Passion event sparked his dedication to ministry, leading him to work in marketing while serving with Acts 29 Ministries and leading mission teams to Haiti. He later earned his Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary while serving as a youth pastor. In 2014, Jonathan joined Passion City Church in Atlanta as Family Pastor under Louie Giglio. In 2017, Jonathan received a call to Hills Church in El Dorado Hills, CA where he served as Lead Pastor for 7 years.

Jonathan is passionate about teaching God’s Word and raising devoted followers of Jesus. He and Lindsey enjoy spending time with their two amazing kids, Lily-Hope and Sawyer.
