Global & Strategic Promotion Levels
After we receive a Project Brief, the Communications Team will help formulate a communications plan and identify which channels are most appropriate for the project. To help protect our channels from over-saturation and to help strengthen the value of our most important channels, we will use the following guidelines when creating those plans.
Step 1 | Complete the brief
Before you start:
Proof and edit your copy. Remove unnecessary or redundant content.
Obtain approvals from your direct report before submitting request.
Be ready to provide complete information on the request.
Step 2 | Communication review
On Mondays, Communications Team will review all new requests.
The project will either be added to basecamp or the project lead will be asked for more information.
If briefs are incomplete, they will not be processed until the following Monday.
Depending on project level, creative/planning meeting may be scheduled.
Step 3 | Versions will be submitted for approval
For projects that require design, project lead will submit 1-3 options for approval within 2 weeks.
Ministry will get all approvals required and submit revisions to project lead.
Step 4 | Final versions
Communications will submit a final version to ministry for proofing only. Copy and detail changes will be made.
All final assets will be added to the ‘Docs & Files’ tab in the project on Basecamp.
